AI literacy training

Every company that uses AI must make its people AI-literate — that is no longer a choice, it is written into law (Art 4 EU AI Act). The good news: the government reimburses up to 60% via the SLIM subsidy.

Since February 2025, Article 4 of the EU AI Act requires employees who work with AI systems to be sufficiently AI-literate. This is no theoretical programme: we deliver a ready-to-use package — e-learning that your team completes at its own pace, one live session, and a certificate that serves as compliance proof. That way you demonstrably meet the law.

The government reimburses up to 60% via the SLIM subsidy — we assess whether you qualify and guide the application.

Who is this for

The AI literacy obligation applies broadly. This training fits when:

E-learning modules

What it is

Recorded modules your team completes at its own pace — the fundamentals of AI literacy, tailored to the reality of your organisation.

Topics
  • What AI is (and isn't), opportunities and limitations
  • Working safely and responsibly with AI tools
  • Privacy, data and the key rules (AI Act, GDPR)
  • Recognising risks and errors in AI output

Live session

What it is

One interactive session (on-site or online) in which we translate the theory into your own work — with room for questions and concrete situations from your team.

What it delivers
  • Answers to the questions that live within your organisation
  • Practical agreements on how AI is used at your company
  • More buy-in and confidence among employees

Certificate & compliance proof

What it is

Participants receive a certificate, and you get a record demonstrating that your organisation gives effect to the AI literacy obligation (Art 4).

Why it counts
  • Demonstrably meeting the law — no loose ends
  • Usable towards clients, auditors and regulators
  • Recorded per employee and per programme

How the SLIM subsidy works

SLIM (the Dutch stimulus scheme for learning and development in SMEs) is designed to reimburse training within SMEs. Training such as AI literacy may fall under it.

Important to know: a SLIM application can reimburse up to 60% of the cost, but this is not a guarantee. There is no explicit AI exception in the scheme, and approval depends on your situation and the application window. We assess case by case whether you qualify and guide the application — so you have a realistic picture before you begin. So don't count blindly on 60%; we look at it together.

What it costs

Guide prices — the final proposal is tailored to team size and scope. Amounts are before any SLIM reimbursement.

Per programme
from €2,950

Complete programme for your organisation: e-learning, live session, certificate and compliance proof. After 60% SLIM, net ± €1,180.

Per seat
from €150 p.p.

For larger teams: per-employee access to the e-learning, with a shared live session. Price per seat drops with volume.

Indicative; no fixed checkout. In a meeting we make a tailored proposal.

Frequently asked questions

Is AI literacy really mandatory?
Yes. Since February 2025, Article 4 of the EU AI Act requires organisations to ensure sufficient AI literacy among everyone who works with AI systems. It applies to virtually every company that uses AI — including through existing software.
Do we really get up to 60% subsidy?
The SLIM subsidy can reimburse up to 60% of the training cost, but that is no guarantee: approval depends on your situation and the application window. We assess case by case whether you qualify and guide the application, so you have a realistic picture up front.
How much time does it take our employees?
Your team completes the e-learning at its own pace — spread across several moments. On top of that there is one live session. Deliberately kept compact, so it fits alongside the work.
Can it be tailored to our sector?
We tailor the live session to your organisation and the AI tools you use. The e-learning is standardised (which keeps it affordable and subsidisable), with sector examples where relevant.
