What it covers: what AI is and is not, working safely and responsibly with AI tools, and spotting errors and risks in AI output. On completion AI Grip issues a certificate recording elapsed time, study load and active time. The certificate comes from AI Grip, not from AI Advies Bureau — and Article 4 requires no certificate at all, only that you can show what was done.

Frequently asked questions

Is AI literacy really mandatory?
Yes. Since February 2025, Article 4 of the EU AI Act requires organisations to ensure sufficient AI literacy for everyone who works with AI systems. It applies to almost every company that uses AI, including through existing software.
Is the e-learning really free?
Yes. AI Grip offers the e-learning for € 0, without an account and without an invoice. Schools can additionally buy an accredited module, but that is separate from the e-learning.
Isn't this only for vocational schools?
The e-learning was built for Dutch vocational education (mbo levels 2, 3 and 4) and is open to everyone. For a team that uses ChatGPT or Copilot daily it is exactly the basis Art 4 asks for: understanding what AI does and working with it critically.
How much time does it take?
The programme is built as ten weeks, each with theory, assignments and check questions. Everyone goes through it at their own pace.
Why doesn't AI Advies Bureau sell its own training?
Because a good free version exists. We advise: what Art 4 asks of your organisation, how you record it, and the compliance around it through the risk scan, the AI policy and the documentation. The training itself, and the certificate, do not come from us.
